I had the most wonderful with Dr. Rankin, Dee Hicks, Marina, Paula, Amy, Maria and Tammy. This was my first visit to Aqua as I live out of state so I had never met anyone before. DR. RANKIN, thank you for making me feel so comfortable. You have this posture about you that is confident yet calming but also very reassuring - you have great energy! It felt great to just let go a little and trust you because I knew I could. It’s rare to find a doctor who truly cares, everyone I spoke to about you had exceptional things to say and I just knew you were for the doctor me. Thank you for everything. DEE- thank you for everything, literally everything from the moment we first spoke to the day I left. I know you knew we had some extenuating things going on with being a military family so thank you from the bottom of my heart for working with us. Honestly, I feel like I’ve know you my whole life. Aqua is lucky to have you on their team ! MARINA- thank you for answering my million in one questions with such patience , you’re amazing ! PAULA - thank you for making me feel so good with that anesthesia. I’m so glad I got to meet you. Thank you for bringing your sense of humor with you , it was great chatting and laughing with you before I went under. AMY - what can I say, you’re just an absolute sweetheart. MARIA- I was so nervous to get my drains out but you made everything so simple and easy and I know you truly cared about calming me & talking me through it. You’re an angel. TAMMY- thank you for always getting back to my emails so promptly and checking on me the day after surgery , it’s so appreciated. After many symptoms, I decided to remove my breast implants. I searched and looked for a doctor and after many recommendations I found Dr. Rankin. I am very grateful and happy after my surgery. He has great bedside manner and treats all his patients with kindness. Natali from the clinic was very special to me during my process of the surgery. She answered all my questions and made sure I was prepared for before, during and after my surgery. I am now more than one month post op and I feel great. The recovery time was short and I have no symptoms as of yet. A special thank you to Dr. Rankin as he is the best surgeon!!!

Stellar. Perfection. Compassionate. The list goes on. Dr. Rankin is mastered in what he does, and is a good human to boot. I did a lot of research before getting my breast explant surgery, and knew I would be in great (surgical) hands. I’m 4 months post surgery and I went from a DD to a full B. I have my health back, my life back, and I immediately felt relief from the migraines that were occurring almost bi-weekly. His team was so kind, thoughtful and easy to work with, I really feel so lucky to have even found his practice. My scars are healing nicely and I honestly feel like I look better than when I had implants. I was so relieved for my explant surgery to be exactly what I was promised. After seeing many other surgeons Dr.Rankin was the only doctor that could throughly explain the procedures of my surgery having my needs validated. The professionalism of his staff helped make a life changing decision less traumatic. Grateful for their bed side manner. I am 8 weeks into my healing and don’t regret the surgery. I feel like myself again.

My consult with Dr. Rankin and his liaison Dee was everything I had hoped it would be.  I went on the nearly 1.5 yr waitlist for explant surgery after reading all the glowing reviews, but with my worsening BII symptoms I was concerned if I could hold out that long. I met with other surgeons in the meantime, but I'm so thankful I trusted my instincts and held out for the best. Dr. Rankin truly lives up to all the hype, in the most humble and professional way possible. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease - as did the amazing "Mama Dee", who was so supportive and comforting throughout the entire process. Thank you also to Tammy, who's been so helpful. The wait was actually a blessing, allowing me to physically and mentally prepare. I fully trust in Dr. Rankin's unmatched expertise.

Dr. Rankin and his team are 1 in a million. From the anesthesia team to the front desk I felt well taken care of. I researched SO many surgeons and knew when I found Dr. Rankin he was the one I wanted to preform my explant. I actually prefer my breasts now more than with implants. Dee helped me get through the process beginning to end. I traveled from Missouri for Dr. Rankins expertise and that’s exactly what he is, an expert! My experience with Dr.Rankin was a blessing. The whole process was wonderful. The team was very lovely and took care of me. His recommendation for my recovery process were all useful. I feel healthier, stronger, and even happier.

I am one month post explant and lift with Dr. Rankin and continue to be happier with my results everyday. Symptoms I had prior have already began to disappear. The wait to get in with him and travel was totally worth it for me. The entire staff at Aqua hold so much compassion and professionalism throughout the entire process, really putting any anxiety to ease. My recovery has been better than expected. I searched for someone highly experienced with explanting while also supporting the connection with BII. All signs led me to Dr. Rankin over and over again. I researched Dr Rankin before I selected him to complete my explant surgery. Then, between reviews of his expertise and preciseness, explanation of how surgery is performed to remove ALL harmful aspects of breast implants, and my calls prior to surgery with the staff; I knew I could trust him to take the best care of me in surgery. His nursing staff offered me the great advice and the most compassionate care which enabled me to find peace to move forward when I am personally terrified of surgery & the repercussions of it. The detailed information provided by the office before and after surgery is extremely helpful along with the open communication that allows you to rest and know their team has your back if you need them! I am just past week 12, and I am recovering very well..with many symptoms such as brain fog, chest pain, shortness of breath, joint and back pain already gone! I am optimistic that I will continue to improve over time, and grateful my procedure went smoothly in the care of Dr Rankin. Finally my last comment, yes my boobs are smaller, But they look great thanks to a successful procedure! I am SO happy I had their whole office to help me through this process!! From the moment I had my consultation with Dr Rankin I just knew he would be the one I would trust to do my breast implant explant.I was in so much pain and so many allergic attacks that for the last two years prior to my explant I was in an out of the hospitals without anyone knowing what is wrong with me. When I would mention BII they would look at me like I wasn’t making sense, that BII isn’t anything in their vocabulary. I was frustrated, I was giving up on life and wanting to get better but then I was introduced to Dee and after having me set up my first with Dr Rankin I was so relieved to hear that he knows that they are the reason I was feeling like that. Surgery day is always nerve wracking but having him and his whole team by my side guiding me through it all step by step made me feel at ease and very comfortable. Recovery was amazing, best treatment ever every time I went in. Now a year later the only thing I regret is I wish I would have done it sooner. Hands down to everyone especially Doctor Rankin. Will forever refer all of my friends and family to him.
